Pho Thien Phat 2: Authentic Vietnamese Dining Experience in Richmond

I had a great experience at Pho Thien Phat 2! The pho was flavorful and comforting, with a rich broth and fresh ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything tasted authentic and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the visit even better. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a warm and satisfying meal!

Great place to eat Pho and other goodies. There's plenty of parking space, the restaurant is big and spacious. Waiters are nice but they are SO slow, they leave your food and you literally have to be chasing them for the check. Bathroom could use a bit of cleaning

I’ve been coming back here within the past year and trying different dishes each time. The flavors feel a bit different compared to couple years ago—maybe a new chef? Still, for Vietnamese food in this area, it’s really good. Favorites so far: pork chop rice, bún bò Huế, pan-fried pho, grilled pork vermicelli, and pho.

The food was great. I've loved how they fried my tofu and the carrots seemed to be pickled which added more flavor to the dish. Also, the service was excellent. The staff was so much more friendly than the other Vietnamese restaurants down the street.

I loved the food here, it was delicious. I got the pho and everything was perfeclty seasoned. The staff was quick and let us enjoy out food for awhile. The atmosphere is so beautiful, and there is no corner without decoration. If you do t come here for the food come for the decorations.

This is a very unpretentious place to eat with a solid menu filled with many options. The crowd was a mix of friends and family groups. Everyone was relaxed and happy. My food was tasty and hot. I found it a bit funny that I only received two (2) shrimp with my order. All in all I had a very good dining experience at a reasonable price.

Overall my experience was really nice. The environment was clean and inviting. The restaurant was decorated with several pieces that I'm sure is rooted deeply in the Vietnamese culture. The Combination Pho was simply scrumptious, as well as the Spring Rolls with Shrimp. I'd highly recommend... The only thing I didn't like was needing to flag the waiter down for a refill, but I assume that may also be cultural, because it's rare to find a Vietnamese restaurant where they ever check on you after they bring the food out. By the way I was the only person in there so he definitely wasn't busy.
